FIRST AUSTRALIAN MINISTER. RESIGNS FROM FEDERAL CABINET. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) MELBOURNE, January 25. Mr R. G. Casey the first Australian minister at Washington will resign his portfolio as Minister for Supply in the Federal Cabinet today. Sir Frederick Stewart will become Minister of Supply. The Acting-Treasurer, Mr Spender, will be made vice-president of the Executive Council, so that he may enjoy full Cabinet rank.
