DOMINION TOURNEY WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY NEW PLYMOUTH PLAYER (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The women's championship was decided at the Dominion croquet tournament in Lower Hutt yesterday, Mrs Clark (New Plymouth) winning both lives. In the first life final she beat TZrs Morgan and in the second life final Mrs Hawken (Hamilton). Mrs Clark played well throughout the tournament and did not lose a match. Results of yesterday's play are:— Handicap Doubles. Mesdames Walker and Collins beat Mesdames Gambrill and Battersby, 2623; Mesdames Bryan and Butcher beat Mesdames Millar and Capstick, 26-6; and Mesdames Allan and Knowles. 2616; Mesdames Lowery and Toms beat F. C. Bryan and Miss McKenzie, 26-10: and Mr and Mrs Blunt. 26-18; Bryan and Butcher beat Mesdames Walker and Collins, 26-4. Handicap Singles. First section: Mrs Henderson beat Ogier. 26-16 and Keys, 26-10; F. Bryan beat D, McClymont. 26-4, and Mrs Cadwallader, 26-0. Second section: Mrs Coles beat Mrs Knowles; Mrs McCreath beat Mrs Griffen, 26-17; and Bernard by default. Level Singles, 31 to 5.

Mrs Penn beat Mrs Brann, 26-10; Mrs Bagrie beat Mrs Griffen, 26-24.

No. 2: Mrs Middleton beat Mrs Sheargold, 26-24. Open Championship.
