GOLD DREDGING RETURNS. The Molyneux Gold Dredging Co., Ltd reports that for the period ended January 12, the dredge operated 190 hours and recovered 114 oz of gold. The directors of Wellington Alluvials, Limited, announce that during the four weeks ended January 6, the dredge worked 457 hours, handling 2,38,000 cubic yards, and recovered bullion estimated to contain 15700 z of fine gold. The dredge was closed down for 63 hours during the period for partial overhaul.
Eulolo Gold Dredging, Limited, reports that for December the total gross production amounted to 19,9960 z of bullion containing 13,7970 z of fine gold from 1,543,000 cubic yards. Estimated working profit, 8148 oz fine gold. No. 3 dredge was closed throughout the period for alterations to the gold saving equipment.
