The sons of many of the nation's leaders are serving with the forces, including Mr Neville Chamberlain’s son Francis Neville, Mr Oliver Stanley's son Michael, Mr Winston Churchill’s son Randolph, Viscount Halifax’s two sons, Charles Wood and Francis Wood, the Marquess of Zetland’s son, Earl Ronaldshay and Lord Caldecote’s son, Robin Inskip, who had a narrow escape aboard a mined mine-sweeper.
