Riders for Trentham.

W. Jenkins will ride Catalogue in the Centennial Cup. He will also pilot Gold Chase, and not Golden Ridge as previously. W. E. Pine has been engaged for Small Boy at Wellington and Bing Boy at Ashhurst. R. Ireland will ride Brazil. Rebellion In Good Heart. Rebellion ran five furlongs in 1.4 1-5, the last four 51 1-5 at Riccarton on Saturday. His first appearance at Trentham will be in the Douro Cup on the second day, in which he will be ridden by R. Mackie, who was successful on him at Wingatui. Rebellion is in good heart.

Centrepoise Impressive. Centrepoise (Atkins) was impressive in a mile gallop at Hastings on Saturday which he ran comfortably in 1.45, the last once round in 1.40. and the first half-mile in 51 A. He was accompanied by Tableau (Stowe) and Hunting Moments (Campbell). but they were of little use to him at any part of the journey. He finished six lengths ahead and easing up. As they went from a standing start it made Centrepoise’s time all the more impressive.

Vincent Meeting Postponed. The second day of the Vincent Jockey Club's meeting was postponed on account of rain. Postponement of Parade. Because of wet weather, the yearling parade, which was to have been held at Trentham yesterday, was postponed till Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o’clock.
