AFTER HEAVY RAIN DOMINION BOWLING TOURNEY. SECTION PLAY IN RINKS • CHAMPIONSHIPS. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. After heavy rain during the weekend the greens were dead this morning when section play in the rinks championship of the New Zealand bowling tournament was continued. The weather is fine but overcast with a light wind blowing. The Hutt Bowling Club’s greens suffered from the heavy rain and play did not begin there until midday. The following are the results of today’s play:— Fifth Round. Section B— Christian (Masterton) beat Cooper (Karori), 29/19; Wright (Seatoun) beat Lafrentz (Maitai), 29/25; Haworth (Canterbury) beat Belcher (Napier). 31/23; Bull (Levin) beat Gray (Kelburn). 33/29; Fruish (Claudelands) beat Smith (Thorndon), 25/24.
