CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celc-, brated tomorrow at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, and at 9 a.m. at Kuripuni. The preacher at St. Matthew’s Church at 11 a.m. will be the Rev. T. V. Pearson, and at 7 p.m. the Rev. V. W. Joblin. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will preach at Kuripuni at 7 p.m.

At the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow the morning service will be mainly to the memory of the late Mrs McGovern, and will be conducted by Rev. J. Dickie. The evening service will be conducted by Rev. J. Linton. In the afternoon, at 2.30, Rev. J. Linton will conduct a service at Eketahuna.

The morning and evening services at Knox Church tomorrow will be taken by the Rev. John Davie. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. Mrs Mahaffie will be the speaker in the morning service, when she will take for her subject, “The Faith We Live By." In the evening service the Major will take for his subject. “This Age of Unbelief.” All are heartily invited to the Army's services. The meeting of the Baptist Fellowship, to be held at the Y.M.C.A. Hall at 11 a.m. tomorrow, wdl be conducted by Mr D. Petrie, a recent acquisition to the fellowship from Wellington. A cordial welcome is extended to all friends or visitors to meet at the Y.M.C.A. Hall.
