TENNIS MATCH EKETAHUNA v. KAIPARORO. ("Times-Age” Special.) TARARUA CLUB. The Tararua Defence Rifle Club fired the first of the cup and championship matches on the Nireaha range last Saturday. Rifleman R. Personal Items. Mr Ben Bradley has returned from a holiday spent in the Taranaki Province. Miss Margaret Bell, of Nireaha. will leave next week for Wellington to attend the opening of the Wellington Provincial Centennial Memorial at Petone on Anniversary Day and also the historic celebrations to follow. Miss Bell, as the eldest granddaughter of Mrs Timothy O’Laughlin, one of Wel : lington’s pioneers, will be a guest at both celebrations. Miss Diana Blomfield, of Hamilton, has left Nireaha on a visit to Wellington. where she will be the guest of her aunt, Mrs Rutter, of Kelburn. Mr and Mrs A. Rowden left yesterday on a visit to friends at Waitara.

Mrs A. S. Carter is an inmate of the Pahiatua Public Hospital.
