FOR ENTOMBED AMERICAN MINERS TWENTY-FIVE BODIES RECOVERED. SIXTY-SIX MEN STILL UNDERGROUND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 12. A message from Bartley, West Virginia, states that 25 bodies have been recovered from the Pocahontas coal mine, in which an underground explosion occurred. Hope has been abandoned for the other 65 men who are entombed.
