SWIMMING CLUB MEETING LAST NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) The weather was not of the best for the opening night meeting of the Eketahuna Swimming Club held at the Baths last night, and as a result the attendance was not large. A lengthy programme was got off in good style by the officials and there were clost finishes. A team from the Masterton Club competed. Dr. E. M. Simmers thanked the Masterton swimmers for their help and the sentiments expressed were heartily endorsed by those present. The folowing are the results: — Girls' 25 Yards Handicap. —S. GOOD COMPETITION
AT EKETAHUNA SALE. At the Eketahuna stock sale yesterday the competition was good throughout, although prices for shorn and woolly medium w.f. lambs did - not come up to the values of last week.
