LARGE YARDING FORWARD. A large yarding of store wethers and lambs came forward at the Masterton sale yesterday. In the store lamb section. the' market showed a weakening tendency on last week’s sales. Prices—Sheep: Fat wethers, 19s to 21s; fat ewes, good, 14s 6d to 15s; fat lambs. 18s 6d to 21s; extra good b'.f. rape lambs, account H. G. Myers, 18s; others, 15s to 16s 7d; smaller. 7s 9d to 13s; woolly wether lambs (good), 12s 6d to 14s 6d; others. 9s to 12s; shorn wether lambs (good). 15s; others, 8s 6d to Ils 6d; small, 6s 6d to 7s 6d. Fourtooth wethers (C. H. Vallance), 18s 8d; do. (A. W. King), 18s 9d; do. (W. B. Hull), 18s 7d; two-tooth (Otahome Station),/16s Id; others, 14s to 16s; twotooth ewes. 26s 7d; four-tooth and sixtooth ewes. 21s; woolly six-year ewes. 18s’7d; store ewes. 4s to 9s. Cattle—Two-year steers £6 to £6 14s; P.A. and H. Cross cows and calves. £5 Ils; empty P.A. cows, £4 2s 6d; two-year P.A. and H.M.T. heifers, £4 10s to £4 14s; yearling steers, £3 to £4 ss; fat two-year heifers (light). £5 16s.
