FEATHERSTON
1 BY CYCLE TO HASTINGS TWO ENTERPRISING BOYS. (“Times-Age" Special.) Two enterprising boys, Colin Buck and Alex Blain, left Featherston this morning on a cycling trip to Hastings. They intend camping on the journey and are carrying tents and equipment with them. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs W. F. Vile, and Noel Bramwell, of Feilding, spent the weekend in Featherston on their way to visit the Centennial Exhibition. Mr and Mrs Frank Everton, Auckland, are visiting Featherston on their return from the Centennial Exhibition. They are travelling by motor car with caravan attached. Mr Everton was a former headmaster of the Featherston School. They are the guests of Miss Vile. Mrs Clapshaw has returned from a week’s visit to Wellington. Mrs S. Best. Wanganui, is visiting •his mother, Mrs H. Clark. Mr and Mrs Leslie Muir, Lower Hutt, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs Muir, Western Lake. Miss Margaret Moorcraft, Auckland, is visiting her. aunt, Mrs J. Buck. Mr and Mrs Chas Buck have returned from a motor trip to Paeroa.
