HIDING LOSSES
ATTITUDE OF THE GERMAN HIGH COMMAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) BERLIN, January 5. The high command has published no list of casualties on the Western front since October 17, when it admitted 196 killed, 356 wounded and 144 missing. It has admitted the loss of only 29 planes since the outbreak of war, though neutrals believe that scores were lost in .Poland alone. The only naval losses admitted thus far are the Graf Spee, five submarines and one patrol boat. All the Allies claims beyond these have either been denied or ignored.
