LAWN TENNIS
WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. DRAW FOR INTER-CLUB MATCHES. The Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Associations Inter-Club Competitions will be resumed on Saturday. The St Matthew’s Tennis Club has been granted affiliation in the C Grade, and will enter the competition on Saturday. The draw is as follows: —All the matches are to be played on the courts of the club mentioned first: — Gawith Shield: Masterton v Carterton; Memorial v Martinborough. B grade: Carterton v Masterton Park; Kuripuni v Memorial; Masterton v Mt Bruce. C. grade: Masterton Park v Memorial; Greytown v SI Patrick’s; Rangitumau v Wairarapa College: St Matthews v Carrington Park. Entry forms for the annual tournament may be obtained from Mr H. M. Boddington. Club captains are requested to leave results in the "Times-Age” letter-box after the matches are played.
