They came home in great style, the former narrowly prevailing. Beau Repaire made a gallant bid for victory. Beaulivre registered another win by annexing the King’s Plate, and is still unbeaten. He was not in danger of defeat at any stage of the race. Beau Vite, who was having his first race since his return from Australia, finished well.
