GIRLS’ BIBLE CLASS

DOMINION CAMP. BEING HELD AT ST. MATTHEW’S SCHOOL. The Dominion camp of the New Zealand Anglican Girls' Bible Class Union is being held at St. Matthew’s Collegiate School. It was opened on Wednesday, when the Rev. E. J. Rich, Vicar of St. Matthew's Church, welcomed the visitors on behalf of the Parish. Introductions were made and the girls allotted their duties. A quiet day was spent in settling down to the camp routine. A talk was given by the camp missionary, Miss Hawtrey, yesterday. A swimming cup and a tennis cup are being competed for. During the day studies and discussions are held, but business will be dealt with at the Leaders' Conference which will take place from January G to January 8. A picnic will be held later, a fancy dress dance and a concert during the week. Miss Henderson (Auckland) is camp organiser.
