AUSTRALIAN INNOVATION AMONG SECOND BRIGADE. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.23 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Is is officially announced that the 16th brigade of the second A.I.F. will march through the streets of Sydney on January 4. The brigade numbers 6500. The “blood type” of every member of the second A.I.F. will be recorded in his paybook and also inscribed on the back of his identity disc so that men who are severely wounded may be given blood transfusions without loss of time. It is believed that the A.I.F. will be first of the Allied armies to have the blood type of every man carded and classified in advance.
