GOOMERI HOTEL FIRE
EIGHT PERSONS PERISH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 11.23 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. It is now definitely established that only eight persons perished in the Goomeri hotel fire. The bones recovered from the ashes which led the police to believe that two other persojns had perished wore found not to bo human bones. (A fire occurred on Saturday morning at Goomeri, 171 miles north-west of Brisbane, when the local hotel was burnt to the ground).
