The apostolic delegate has conveyed to President Roosevelt the Pope’s “very great joy” at his message of December 23 offering co-operation in future peace moves and "profound gratitude al the choice of Mr Taylor" as the President’s personal representative al the Vatican. The Pope is making a personal official reply to Hie President.
