GOLD MINING RETURNS.
Worksop Extended Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., reports a return for the week ended December 21 of 490 z in 226 hours from 23,000 cubic yards. Big River Gold Mines Ltd., has issued the following gold returns for the .months of November and December :— Battery department: 157 tons of ore crushed for 108 oz of melted gold. Cyanide department: 100 tons of sands treated for ISoz of bullion. Total estimated value: £940. In addition, 2 tons of concentrates were saved valued at £BO. In estimating the above values gold has been taken at 160 s a fine ounce.
