INDOOR FLYING

ATTRACTION AT THE EXHIBITION. I CRAFTSMANSHIP COMPETITION RESULTS. Perfectly finished models of aircraft will circle in four, five and six-minute flights in the spacious Assembly Hall at the Centennial Exhibition in the afternoons of December 27 and 28. These will be the occasions of the flying tests arranged by the New Zealand Model Aeroplane Association, and will be a New Zealand championship for model-makers in all parts of the Dominion. The model aeroplane display opened on Monday, December 18. in the Motors and Transportation Court, and here the models may be viewed until January 20, 1940. The leading model craftsmen in New Zealand have entries in this flying exhibit, and the standard will be unusually high. There will be no charge for admission to see the flying tests, which, have been arranged by the Exhibition authorities as a special attraction during Christmas week.
