WOMEN’S DIVISION
VISIT TO MASTERTON HOSPITAL. The annual visit of the Mastertori branch pf the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union to the Masterton Hospital was made on Tuesday last, when afternoon tea was served to the women patients by the following members: Mesdames K. Groves (president), McKenzie, lorns, Coe, McLean, Pike, Jackson, Barrer, James, Taylor and Rue. The acting-Matron (Sister Paterson) after receiving the visitors, escorted them to the various wards where the patients were delighted to.see them. Later in the afternoon Sister Paterson entertained the visitors al afternoon tea, and a pleasant social half hour was spent. Before leaving the visitors were shown the iron lung, a recent adjunct to the hospital medical equipment, in which they were intensely interested.
