TYPHUS OUTBREAK
AMERICAN HELP SENT TO FINLAND. PRESIDENT'S INSTRUCTIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.20 a.m.) WASHINGTON, December 21. President Roosevelt has ordered two United States Public Health service experts at present stationed in Europe to go to Finland to direct the fight against typhus. Mr Roosevelt did not disclose the extent of the epidemic, but said the Finns were inexperienced in coping with typhus.
