The first prize, £2009. 70.797, went to “One For Luck,’’ Dunedin; the second prize. £lOOO, 197,404, to “Mickey,” Dannevirke; third. £5OO, 127,027, "We Three,” Christchurch; fourth, £4OO, 224,383, “We Need It,” Christchurch butt; fifth. £3OO, 135.804, Crabtree, Dunedin; sixth, £2OO. 139,315, “Shifting.” Gore; seventh, £lOO, 138,359, "My Lucky Year,” Invercargill. Wairarapa winners of £5 prizes were:—156,777 “Dad and I,” Masterton; 196,553, “Staples,” Pahiatua.
