A second charge of having shot with intent to murder has been made against Ledwedge Vincent Lawlor. In the St Kilda Court on December 9, Lawlor was charged in connection with G. A. Kelly. The second charge refers to Giles. Lawlor was remanded on both charges. Operations have been performed on both Giles and Kelly. The former is still very' ill but the latter is progressing. Ledwedge Vincent Lawlor, who fired a shot outside the Duchess of Kent’s home in London, was arrested in Melbourne on December 9 on a charge of having shot George Anderson Kelly, aged 32, with intent to commit murder. Kelly and Leslie Giles, aged 32, were found at St Kilda, each shot in the back.
