SPECIAL SESSION
MR HAMILTON’S SUGGESTION. PRIME MINISTER'S REPLY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The following letter hfls been sent by the Prime Minister. Mr Savage, to the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Hamilton, in reply to. the latter's suggestion that a special session of Parliament should be held as soon as convenient after the return to New Zealand of the Minister of Education. Mr Fraser: — "On Mr Fraser’s return from the 'United Kingdom I will consider the points raised in your letter of the 18th instant with reference to calling Parliament together and. if the circumstances warrant a sitting, I will arrange for the members to be notified. "May I extend every good wish to Mrs Hamilton, yourself, and your colleagues for Christmas and the coming year."
