POST OFFICE HOURS

DURING CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. The following hours will be observed at the Masterton Post Office during the Christmas holidays:— Christmas Day, December 25: Post Office will be closed in all branches. No mails will be despatched and postmen’s deliveries and rural deliveries will be suspended. The 'Castlepoint private bag service will be performed on Saturday, December 23, in lieu of December 25. The Stronvar private bag service will be performed on Boxing Day. December 26, in lieu of December 25. Homewood and Te Wharau private bag services will be performed on Wednesday, December 27, instead of December 25. The telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Boxing Day, December 26: The Post Office will be closed in all branches and all mails for despatch on this date will close at 6.30 a.m. Postmen’s deliveries and rural deliveries will be suspended, except Westmere, and Bideford private bags will be despatched as usual. The Castlepoint private bag service will be suspended. The telegraph office hours will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. A counter delivery of all correspondenes: (including registered) will be made between 7.30 and 8.30 p.m. on Saturday. December 23.
