The Tokio correspondent of the United Press of America says 600 prominent Japanese, including former Cabinet ministers and military officers, passed a resolution urging the Government: (1) To take appropriate measures to end the conflict in China; (2) To remove any advocacy of cooperation with the Soviet: (3) To investigate underground Communist activities; (4) To re-examine renovation policies; (5) To guard against any campaign, arising from a fear complex, against pro-British and pro-American views. Former Cabinet ministers participating included Messrs H. Arita and Moizumi and the military heads doing so included Hishikari and Mazaki.
