The cave will be open tomorrow evening. Christmas Eve when it is expected that an exceptionally large number of patrons will line their way to the cave to enjoy jungle fun and other features of lhe display. Mangaroa Bridge. The Public Works Department advises that, the Mangaroa bridge, on the main Wellington-Wairarapa road, which was damaged by last week's severe floods, is open to traffic. A speed limit of 15 miles per hour is imposed, and this must be strictly observed until •further notice. It is pointed out that heavy as well as light traffic may use the bridge. Centennial Stamp Covers. Attractive commemorative covers have been prepared by the Post and Telegraph Department for the Centennial postage stamp issue on January 2 The covers embrace a series of six on which are printed views of historic spots in Now Zealand. Accompanying the covers is a booklet giving a description of the various stamps in the issue, besides much interesting historical data
