BOOTH COP CONTEST CARTERTON DEFEAT MASTERTON. SHIELD GAME A DRAW. (“Times-Age" Special.) The third round of the Booth Cup was played on Saturday when Carterton met and* defeated Masterton by 3 games to I and the shield game resulted in a draw. At Carterton afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Underhill and Foster and was presided over by Mrs W. Steven and Miss Audrey Walker. Beside the Booth Cup contest at Carterton three friendly games were played against rinks from Masterton. Shield: Hill, Matson, Stent, Harp (s) drew with Tamblyn, Holtham, Reid, Jones (s), 19/19. Friendly games: McCarty, Kilmister, Boyne, W. PARK v. GREYTOWN.
