MAURICEVILLE
SCHOOL RADIO FUND CONCERT BY EKETAHUNA PARTY. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Eketahuna Orchestral and Concert Party journeyed to Mauriceville and staged a variety concert to assist the radio fund of the Mauriceville School. The items rendered were of a high class and thoroughly appreciated, being a musical treat. The rendering of "In a Chinese Temple Garden” and “In a Monastery Garden" by the orchestra were outstanding items. Little Miss McAlaster sung her items well and the soloists, orchestra and all connected with the party which was under the leadership of Mr Bouzaid are to be congratulated on the splendid programme. At the conclusion of the concert, Mr Milner, on behalf of the school committee, thanked the party for having staged the concert and also the residents for the assistance given. The concert party have offered to come again at a later date to assist further in securing funds for the school radio. Personal. Mrs O. 11. Nikolaisen is spending a few days with her daughter. Mrs S.
