EXHIBITION VISITORS

A GUIDE FOR MOTORISTS ROUTES AND PARKING AREAS. AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION MAP. The Centennial Exhibition at Rongotai, Wellington, will be the tour objective of many thousands of New Zealand motorists in the next few months, and all motorist visitors can be assured that the efficient service of the Wellington Automobile Association is available to them. The Association has been collaborating with the authorities for many months in completing details of various kinds designed for the safety, convenience and guidance of traffic generally, and has in hand the printing of 10,000 maps for the use of motorists. These maps show special features of Wellington in colour, such as access roads to the exhibition, and parking areas. The maps are issued by the Association under an arrangement with the Exhibition Company and the Wellington City Council, and will be distributed to all automobile associations throughout New Zealand for the information of their members and others who will be visiting the Capital City. In determining the routes to the exhibition, regard has been paid to the district in which the motorist is residing, or from which he is approaching the exhibition, and each route is coloured differently so that the mo-t torist will have no difficulty in finding his way to Rongotai. The several routes are shown in bands of colour, and in making these maps available the association asks that motorists wil] generally follow the routes shown, and by doing so they will be giving cooperation to the city traffic authorities and helping in reducing traffic congestion.

The parking plan shows very clearly the areas available for parking, all of which will be under control and charges made according to those fixed by the controlling authorities. In addition to the parking area shown on the plan of course there are a largo number of streets in Miramar where cars can be parked. For the purpose of easy reference, the plan shows very clearly the streets in which parking is prohibited. In streets where parking is permitted, directions will be given as to the method of parking, where cars are to be parked otherwise than parallel to the kerb. These maps are available on inquiry for all motorists.
