MAURICEVILLE TALKIES
“SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS.” Those who are keen movie patrons should not miss “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," which will be shown at Mauriceville tomorrow night. This is the long-heralded Walt Disney picture. produced in technicolour, in feature length. Its plot is taken from the famous book of Grimms’ folk tales, and never have the fabled beauties of the country of shadows and Little People been revealed in such exquisite lines. The dramatic thrills of the story deal with the murderous pursuit of the lovely Princess, “Snow White," by her jealous rival, the wicked Queen. Its brilliant comedy interludes are fantastically funny, alive with the spirit of Fairyland, where birds, animals and dwarfs make merry in woodland glades amid scenes of enchanting loveliness. There are several song hits including “Whistle While You Work, “With a Smile and a Song,” “Some Day My Prince Will Come" and others.
