PERSONAL ITEMS
Mrs C. McDonald, of 'Woodville, is visiting Pongaroa. Mrs L. F. Owen, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Pongaroa. Mrs Mayman, Senior, has returned to Pongaroa from Waipukurau where she was an inmate of the hospital. Mrs S. Wilson and her infant son and daughter, have arrived from Auckland to spend Christmas with Mr and Mrs N, H. James, Pownall Street, Masterton. Mrs E. McAnulty (Rongokokako) and her two sisters, with Mrs S. H. Smith, left today by car for the north. The first three will visit their sister at Rotorua and Mrs Smith her daughter, Mrs E. Briggs, at Onepu, Whakatane. Miss Dulcie Nicolson, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Nicolson, Otaki, and formerly of Masterton, was entertained at a kitchen tea in Otaki on Saturday. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent, and Miss Nicolson, who will be married in January received a large number of valuable and useful presents.
