GREYTOWN

PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Yesterday the members of the staff of the Greytown District High School made a presentation of a reading lamp to Mr J. D. McFarlane. Mr G. S. Maloney, of the Secondary Department, congratulated Mr McFarlane on his new appointment. Mr S. C. Shedden (headmaster) made the presentation and thanked Mr McFarlane for his loyal co-operation. A presentation of a fancy cup and saucer was made yesterday by the local school staff to Miss D. Tully, who had for many years supervised the tea arrangements. Mouth Organ Band. The Greytown District High School mouth organ band is visiting Wellington today. After paying a visit to several factories in Lower Hutt they will arrive at 2YA for the Children’s Session at 5 p.m.
