FATAL FALL

v LINESMAN’S DEATH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CAMBRIDGE, December 13. Thomas Harwood, assistant linesman, aged 56, employed by the Cambridge Power Board, fell from a street pole today and broke his neck. Artificial respiration for three-quarters of an hour was in vain. The line was dead at the time. A mark on Mr Harwood’s boot indicated that he slipped on a ladder 23 feet from-the ground. He leaves a wife and a large family.
