(Received This Day. 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, December 12. 1 Dealing with Empire units of the Air Force the Air Minister (Sir Kingsley Wood) said: “A full squadron of the latest four-engined flying boats will soon be operating as a unit of the Royal Australian Air Force and a squadron of the latest bombers is being formed with a New Zealand personnel. South Africa had largely expanded her air training organisations and first line strength and has carried out valuable coastal reconnaissance work. Southern Rhodesia is bringing its existing unit to full strength and is manning two additional squadrons."
