ROUGH TRIP
FERRY EXPRESS DELAYED IN COOK STRAIT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Boisterous southerly weather and heavy seas delayed the Rangitira on her voyage south last night. Being in light trim, as the weather prevented cargo being worked at Wellington yesterday, the vessel could not make more than 10 knots across Cook Strait, and it was not until she was south of Cape Campbel] that normal speed was resumed. The Rangitira carried 399 passengers.
