AN AMERICAN PROPOSAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. NEW YORK, December 9. The Amateur Athletic Union has approved of the establishment of PanAmerican Games if Finland abandons the 1940 Olympic Games. No definite action will be taken till Finland relinquishes the event.
