OBITUARY
MISS JEAN HENDERSON. The death occurred at Masterton yesterday of an old .and very highly respected resident of Masterton in the person of Miss Jean Henderson. Born at Hartshaw Farm, Clackinamonshire, Scotland, on October 6, 1853, she was the only daughter of the late Mr and Mrs William Henderson. She had five brothers, two of whom came to New Zealand-Mr Thomas Henderson, who had a farm at Konini. and Mr John Henderson, who carried on a business as a tailor in Masterton for many years. Both predeceased her. She was a loyal member of Knox Church, taking part in its activities and liberally supporting it. She is survived in New Zealand by two nephews, Messrs Wilfred and Hector Henderson, and two nieces, Misses Agnes and Irene Henderson. all of Konini. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 9 a.m. after a service at Knox Manse.
