WEDDINGS
SOMERVILLE—BREEN. The marriage took place at Hamilton on Saturday, November 25, of Mary Frances Breen, only daughter of Mi's A. Breen, of Masterton, and formerly of Hastings, and the late Mr Breen, who was married to Mr Samuel Somerville, second son of Mrs R. Somerville and the late Mr Somerville. of Ashburton. HENDERSON—WELCH. A quiet wedding took place at the St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton. on Tuesday when Lucy Betty, only daughter of Mr and Mrs K. E. Welch. Masterton. was married to Herbert James, son of Mr and Mrs H. Henderson, Te Whiti. The officiating minister was the Rev. E. J. Rich. The bride was attired in a Chartreuse green two-piece suit with turban to match, and carried a pretty bouquet. The bride was attended by Miss Hazel Henderson, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a honey gold frock with turban to tone and carried a bouquet. The duties of best man were carried out by ivlr Hugh Welch, brother of the bride. A reception was held later at the Empire Hotel. Mr and Mrs Henderson subsequently left for the south. On their return Mr and Mrs TI. J. Henderson will take up their residence at Pihautca. Featherston.
