EKETAHUNA
BIRTHDAY PARTY ("Times-Age” Special.) A very happy birthday party, in the form of a family gathering, was held at the home of Mr and Mrs W. Olsen, Eketahuna, on Saturday, to celebrate the birthday of the former, four generations of the family being present. Mr John Bray, Mrs Olsen's father, in presenting the guest of the evening with a Louwe pipe and a watch, remarked that when he was out on a fishing excursion and not getting any bites, he would get some consolation out of the pipe, and when his crat* was full of fish the watch would tell him when it was time to go home. The. speaker also remarked that he was very much impressed with the very happy and pleasant relations existing between all members of the family. Mr Bray also wished Mr Olsen very many more happy birthdays, the other members of the family joining in the wish. Mr Olsen suitably replied. As the birthday of his youngest son, William, fell on the same day, a present with good wishes was also given him. I
