FOR FRUIT SALAD

A DELICIOUS DRESSING. There arc recipes in plenty for dressings to be used with the ordinary salad, but whore a fruit salad is concerned they are not so numerous. Here is a dressing that is delicious served with a salad of frosh fruit. Allow three tablespoonsful of lemon juice, three tablespoonsful of orange juice, six tablespoonsful of pineapple juice, a quarter of a cupful of boiling water, two tablespoonsful of cornflour, half a cupful of sugar, and two eggs. Mix the dry ingredients. Then add the fruit juices and water slowly. Cook slowly for a quarter of an hour. Beat the eggs slightly and pour the mixture very slowly over them. Put the whole mixture into a double saucepan and re-heat for one minute. Thin out. with a little whipped cream.
