ALFREDTON TALKIES

“WILD AND WOOLLY.” A wild buckaroo out where the West begins, Jane Withers begins where the wild West leaves off in her greatest comedy “Wild and Woolly,” which will bo shown tomorrow night at Alfredton. With the help of a grand cast Jane Withers learns the ways of the West from her old-timer grandad, but what the West learns from Jane makes hilarious comedy. The story opens in the old frontier town of Mesa City, which is about to celebrate its first pioneer day jubilee. Jane has inherited the feud between her grandfather and Berton Churchill, an unscrupulous town banker, carrying it on with the cattier's grandson. Jack Searle. Jane’s chief partner is Carl “Alfalfa" Switzer, of “Our Gang” comedy fame. They call him “Zero.” but he’s a regular adding machine for laughs. Excellent supports, incuding comedy, cartoon, news and magazine, help to make this a splendid family programme.
