The New Brighton Trotting Club’s summer meeting was held in fine weather before an excellent attendance. The track was fast. The totalisator handled £33,285 10s, compared with £33,395 10s last year. In a trial against time over a mile to beat Van Derby’s grass track record of 2.0 2-5, Lawn Derby, paced by Wainoni Jack and driven by F.
