WILFUL DAMAGE

MAN FINED FOR BREAKING WINDOW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Arrested al the instigation of his father, Derrick Gould, a labourer aged 20, plqaded guilty to wilfully damaging a window valued at 15s. The police received a telephone call at 11 p.m. on Saturday, and on going out to the house found accused in bed. He said his father had locked the doors on him and he lost his head and broke a window. The police said the trouble arose from an argument over board. Accused was told he could not come in until he paid some money. Accused was convicted and ordered to pay for the damage.
