DAMAGED BY STORM

BRITISH SUBMARINE. SHELTER AT STAVANGER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Dav, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, December 1. An Admiralty spokesman revealed that the British submarine sheltering at Stavanger, in Norway, was damaged by a storm and not by enemy action. The spokesman denies any action between warships and aircraft, as reported from Oslo on November 29. A message from Oslo states that the warships which brought the submarine into Stavanger left Norwegian waters immediately. The submarine's rudder was damaged and she was helpless.
