OFF SOUTHEAST COAST OF ENGLAND LIFEBOAT SAVES CREW. DANISH SCHOONER WRECKED ON GOODWINS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, December 1. The Newcastle steamer Dalryan was mined six miles off the South-East Coast and sank in full view of watchers on a pier promenade. A lifeboat saved all 38 members of the crew and also a pilot. Five injured members of the crew were taken to hospital. The Danish schooner Grethe was wrecked on the Goodwin Sands, apparently due to striking a submerged wreck. The crew was saved.
