The New South Wales Eighteen Footer League may take legal action for the recovery of the world’s championship cup. The New South Wales League is seeking an endorsement of its attitude from the Queensland League, the members of which constitute the Australian Board of Control. Mr Swinbourne said he was determined not to part with the trophy. “I have taken legal advice on the matter,” he said, “and the Board of Control has not « leg to stand on.”
