A guest this week at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton. was Miss E. Algie, Featherston. Mrs Colin Deans and family, Taueru, have returned from a visit to Paraparau.mu Beach. Mrs W. Langdon, Hawke's Bay, is staying with her sister. Miss Butement. Essex Street, Masterton. Mrs J. Fleet. Dunedin, stayed recently at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Masterton. Mrs P. Borthwick and family, “Eridge,” who have been staying at Paraparaumu Beach, have returned to Masterton. Mr and Mrs C. E Mace, Mrs E. Manning and Mr A. S. Mace were a Te Aroha party which visited Masterton recently. They stayed at the Prince of Wales Hotel. A London cable states that the engagement is announced of Flight-Lieu-tenant W. G. Clouston, Wellington, to Elizabeth Anne, daughter of tile late Vice-Admiral Hyde and Mrs Hyde. Cambridge.
